The leather used is a natural product that maintains the original characteristics of the animal's skin, such as scars, wrinkles, and vessels, so no two pieces of leather are exactly alike in appearance or quality. This is one of the great charms of natural leather. Although we remove any noticeable defects upon inspection, please understand them as the individuality of natural leather. *Because genuine leather is used, there are wrinkles, scratches, blood vessel marks, etc. on the surface. In addition, dye may enter the bottom of the bag and appear as stains or spots, but please understand that this is proof of the natural material. cotocul started as an apparel manufacturer in 2005 with the goal of "creating a global brand from Kyoto". At first, we sold products manufactured by our partner factories to specialty stores nationwide. But over time, we wanted to be able to deliver products made by our own hands directly to customers, and in 2015 we launched cotocul, a brand of handmade small leather goods. The word "cotocul" is a coined word combining "koto" (ancient capital) and "culture" (culture). The brand name expresses our desire to deliver the materials and culture inherited in Kyoto and Japan through our products. Our brand concept is "Creating products that bring smiles". We hope that our brand will bring smiles to the faces of many people, including not only the customers who purchase our products, but also ourselves, the craftsmen who create our products, and our suppliers who provide us with materials.
